Ataturk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı held the meetings of the senate and the board of directors with the dinner program he organized. The dinner program was held at Ata Practice Hotel in addition to Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı,  vice-rectors, senators, members of the board of directors and the secretary general attended.

Starting his speech by expressing his pleasure to meet with the senators and the members of the board of directors who direct the work of the university, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı said that the success achieved as a result of intense effort and effort belongs to the entire Atatürk University family. Rector Çomaklı stated that the process that started with the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project was rewarded with the accreditation of the education given at the university and then the selection of a Research University, and lastly, this success was confirmed with two awards given by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

“All Achievements Belong to Atatürk University Family”

Stating that they received the CHE 2022 Outstanding Achievement Award in the category of Digital Transformation and Big Data Studies, they won the second prize to Atatürk University after the Eastern Anatolia Career Fair, which is of great importance in terms of bringing students together with sector representatives and preparing them for business life, was chosen as the Career Fair with which Students are Most Satisfied. Rector Çomaklı: “65th Celebrating its anniversary, Atatürk University gained significant momentum with the structural change and transformation it has experienced in recent years and has started to make a name for itself in many fields. Both our place in reputable ranking institutions and the awards we have received are the biggest indicators of this. Our university continues to produce science and use it for the benefit of society today, as it did yesterday. Support is given by taking steps toward the vision of our country in every field, academic and scientific studies are supported until the end, and all kinds of studies are carried out to ensure that our students receive a quality education. As a result of this effort, our university is honored with various awards, which makes us very proud. In order to show that these successes belong not only to us but also to our entire university family and to share the happiness we experience, we wanted to hold our weekly meeting with you, our esteemed colleagues, with a dinner program. In your presence, I would like to thank all our university members and wish that our work will lead to many more awards.”

After the meeting of the Senate and the Board of Directors the program, which continued with the works performed by the Director of the Turkish Music State Conservatory Prof. Dr. Nesrin Feyzioğlu, ended with Rector Çomaklı accepting the congratulations.
