As part of the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, the TEKNOFEST Entrepreneurship Program organized by the Turkey Technology Team (T3) Foundation Enterprise Center was introduced. Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı also took part.

After winning the first place in the TEKNOFEST Educational Technologies category in 2020, Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine students Kübra Kablan and Yusuf Bayram Tuğlu, who were included in the TEKNOFEST Startup Program by turning their work into an enterprise, shared their experiences with the participants.

In addition to Rector Çomaklı, in the promotional event of the TEKNOFEST Enterprise Program, which was held for the first time this year; Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology and Chairman of the Executive Board of TEKNOFEST, Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of TEKNOFEST, Chairman of the Board of T3 Foundation Haluk Bayraktar, T3 Foundation Entrepreneurship Center Coordinator İrem Bayraktar, entrepreneurs whose applications were accepted, and many guests attended.

444 Applications Made to the Program

As the T3 Enterprise Center, the TEKNOFEST Enterprise Program was launched with the aim of enabling technology-oriented, scalable business ideas, university and post-university teams that participated in the competitions organized within the scope of TEKNOFEST, to transform their project ideas into commercial activities in a sustainable model and quickly.

Competitors who have been finalists at TEKNOFEST since 2018 and have turned their work into initiatives have applied to the pre-incubation and acceleration program. In addition to grant support, the selected teams will be provided with 12 different opportunities, from entrepreneurship training in different fields to investor and cooperation meetings from experts in their fields.

Stating that Atatürk University is among the stakeholders of the world's most comprehensive Aviation, Space and Technology Festival (TEKNOFEST), organized with the support of Turkey's important institutions and companies under the leadership of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı: “I believe that the TEKNOFEST Entrepreneurship Program, which was organized with the aim of establishing the national technology move initiated under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in all layers of society, will be a great source of motivation for our young people, who are our future. Turkey is a country with big claims. Only with groundbreaking, game-changing moves, projects and ideas can we make these big claims. I congratulate all our entrepreneurs, especially our university students Kübra Kablan and Yusuf Bayram Tuğlu, who are included in the Initiative Program with the Virtual Clinic initiatives they have developed for this purpose, and I sincerely believe that the program will contribute to the fully independent future of our country.
