Board meeting of Interuniversity Board Presidency (ÜAK) was held face to face after a long time.

Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı and other UAK Board Members, Ankara, Ankara Music and Fine Arts, Bakırçay, Erciyes, İstanbul, İstanbul Aydın, İstanbul Teknik, Manisa Celal Bayar, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Sabancı University rectors, representatives and ÜAK officials attended the meeting, which was held under the leadership of UAK Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ataç.

Making the opening speech, UAK Chairman Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ataç told that UAK will also continue to work in accordance with these missions in the new term, which is an organisation responsible for ensuring the academic coordination between universities, taking measures to meet the need for faculty members of universities, preparing draft laws, by-laws and regulations of the same quality that concern all universities within the scope of higher education planning.

After the opening speech, UAK Secretary General Prof. Dr. Abdulkerim Caliskan gave information about the work of UAK, the appointment processes and the reasons for the legislative changes to be made. Afterwards, the agenda items were discussed. In the meeting that started with the situation assessments of the universities, the opinions and suggestions of the board members were asked about the procedures and principles regarding the evaluation of doctorate and proficiency in arts, associate professorship and professorship titles and the examination of the applications made to UAK, including about other agenda items.

The meeting ended with wishes and desires.
