Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı attended the Board of Directors meeting of the Interuniversity Board (ÜAK) held in the capital Ankara. President of YÖK, Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar presided the meeting held at the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

The Interuniversity Board Presidency (ÜAK) meeting, which started with the opening speech, was held with the participation of the members of the ÜAK general assembly. At the meeting where the education, scientific research and publication activities and practices of universities were evaluated, the participants exchanged ideas on various issues by presenting scientific and academic suggestions to YÖK and universities.

As a member of the board of directors for 3 years within the body of the Interuniversity Board, which is the institution responsible for ensuring academic coordination between universities, taking measures to meet the need for faculty members of universities, drafting laws, bylaws and regulations of the same quality that concern all universities. Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı made the following remarks: “On the occasion of the meeting, we came together with our President of YÖK and the respectful rectors of our universities that make up the ÜAK Executive Board and discussed the latest situation in our academy. At the meeting, where we discussed the improvement works regarding the evaluation process of the applications made to the ÜAK, we expressed our opinions and suggestions about other agenda items together with our board members.”
