The Interuniversity Board Presidency (UAK) 252nd General Assembly Meeting was held with the participation of university rectors.

After the meeting, the Presidency of the Interuniversity Board, which came together to determine its new members, reinstated  Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr.  Ömer Çomaklı as the Board Member of the Interuniversity Board.

The 252nd term meeting of the Interuniversity Board, to which about 200 universities are affiliated, was held online by video conferencing method within the scope of the global coronavirus (Covid-19) measures.

At the meeting where education, scientific research and publication activities and practices of universities were evaluated, the participants exchanged ideas on various subjects by offering scientific and academic suggestions to HCE and universities.

Expressing his pleasure for being re-elected as a Board Member of UAC, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı said: "I would like to thank the esteemed Rectors of the universities and the representatives of the Interuniversity Council for their kindness."

What is UAC?

The Presidency of the Interuniversity Council, which is the institution responsible for ensuring academic coordination among universities, taking measures to meet the needs of faculty members of universities, preparing laws and bylaws concerning all universities, as well as regulations of the same nature, carries out activities as a supra-university academic body.
