Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı visited the dormitories of the Ministry of Youth and Sports on the university campus and made various examinations.

Atatürk University, which has come to an end in the preparations for the new academic term, is working hard with all its units to ensure that students do not experience victimization, on the other hand, it continues to carry out joint studies in cooperation with stakeholder institutions. Stating that they work in coordination with both internal and external stakeholders and are in constant dialogue, Rector Çomaklı stated that they closely follow every case and event that closely concerns students.

Çomaklı made evaluations during the visit accompanied by Erzurum Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Birdal Öztürk, noting: “We see the children that the families sent with confidence as our children and we act with this awareness. At this point, your responsibility is great, so it is very important for us where our children will stay and to whom we entrust them. For this reason, we visited the dormitories on our campus, examined their social and physical areas, and got information about the preparations made by meeting with the dormitory managers. Now we are more comfortable and peaceful.”

"An efficient social and city life is very important for students as well as a scientifically strong education process We want the dormitories to be the home of our students. At this point, as the University and Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, we try to mobilize all our resaurces to provide all necessary support to students.  We will continue to work with all our strength, as we have done so far, so that none of our students will experience any unjust treatment. With these thoughts, I wish that the new term will once again be beneficial to our students, dormitory staff and our city.” he added.

After the dormitory visit, the delegation visited the new reading hall, which is under construction at the university, and made various examinations.
