Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, who gives great support to technological studies today, where R&D activities are important in order to keep up with the developing technology and to remain strong in market competition conditions with innovative technologies, came together with the technology teams of the university.

Rector Çomaklı, who hosted the technology teams formed by Atatürk University students under the supervision of faculty members and operating within the Associate and Undergraduate Research and Development Coordinatorship and Faculty of Engineering, chatted with the students for a while.

Examining the student technology projects and exchanging ideas about future technological innovations, the students explained their projects to Rector Çomaklı and had the opportunity to showcase the potential of the university in the field of technology.

"We will continue to do whatever it takes for you to realise your dreams"

Rector Çomaklı, who appreciated the imagination of the students and their contribution to technology, listened to the ideas and wishes of the students for a while and said that they will continue to support technological developments as a university.

Rector Çomaklı stated that it is of great importance to strengthen the information and resource network that can be utilised for R&D as well as expanding the fields of R&D activities: "As a university, we carry out studies towards the vision of Domestic and National Technology Move that our country has put forward especially in recent years. Our Eastern Anatolian Observatory (DAG), which is among the vision projects of the Republic of Turkey, will be in a guiding position in the fields of space, aviation and defence technologies. We always stand by our students who carry out such scientific projects and studies and mobilise all our opportunities. From now on, we will continue to do whatever it takes for you to realise your dreams."
