Erzurum Governor Okay Memiş visited Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr.  Ömer Çomaklı in his office.

Expressing his pleasure to host Okay Memiş, who made a courtesy visit, Rector Çomaklı thanked him for his contribution to the consultation culture and gave information about the work carried out within the university.

Emphasizing that they are carrying out many studies in line with the vision of Atatürk University, especially the Eastern Anatolian Observatory Project (DAG), Prof. Dr. Çomaklı stated that, in this context, they produced many projects that are suitable for the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project of the university and have added value to Erzurum and its region together with all members.

Stating that Atatürk University, which is in a very important position with the value it adds to Erzurum, its region and neighboring countries, closely follows the work done by the Governor Okay Memiş, and in this context, he thanked the entire Atatürk University family in the presence of Rector Çomaklı and said that they will support all kinds of work done.

Reminding that they, as the Governorship of Erzurum, attach importance to cooperation between institutions, Governor Memiş stated that producing joint projects for the city right will reinforce unity and solidarity.

The visit ended with wishes of goodwill.
