RECTOR ÇOMAKLI ATTENDED THE CONSULTATION MEETING HELD AT CHE (COUNCIL OF HIGHER EDUCATION)

Ataturk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı attended the Consultation Meeting on the Legislation Study on Additional Payment / Improvement for Health Personnel Working in University hospitals, hosted by the Council of Higher Education (CHE).

The rectors of 81 state universities with medical faculties attended the meeting, which was held under the leadership of the President of CHE Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar. The issues related to the legislative work to be done on additional payment/improvement for health personnel working in university hospitals were discussed.

At the meeting, after the opening speech of CHE President Özvar, ideas were exchanged with the rectors. President of the Council of Higher Education Özvar revealed the roadmap for the future process at the end of the meeting.

Stating that the legal legislation work initiated within the Council of Higher Education will be completed immediately in order to make the necessary improvements in the personal rights of the health personnel working in university hospitals operating under higher education institutions, Prof. Dr. Özvar said that the studies on the legal regulation that will bring permanent solutions to the problems of the health personnel working in university hospitals are continuing.

Ataturk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı emphasized that in order to provide better health services, the integrity of the personnel and the institution should be ensured, and Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar stated that necessary steps will be taken to improve the personal rights of health personnel working in university hospitals with the studies carried out under the chairmanship of Erol Özvar.
