The celebration ceremony for the May 19th Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth, and Sports Day was conducted in Erzurum City Square, and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, was in attendance. Under the direction of the Erzurum Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate, the event was met with a high level of enthusiasm and a fervor of interest from both young people and citizens.

 In the ceremony, which was structured to reflect the importance and significance of the day, athletes of varying ages showcased their abilities, and the audience was treated to a program that was both visually and emotionally engaging. The Mehter team's enthusiastic marches, the Erzurum Bar team's folk dance performances, the poetry recitals, and the music performances of the students all contributed to the program's vibrancy. Furthermore, citizens were urged to engage in the activities that were conducted in the sports areas and the stands that were established.

 Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu expressed his enthusiasm for attending the anniversary of the entrusting of the war of independence, which Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk initiated by landing in Samsun, and emphasized the importance of national unity and solidarity in accordance with the holiday's spirit.

 "Our Republic is Secured by the Youth"

 The following statements were made by Rector Hacımüftüoğlu in his evaluation: "May 19 is not merely a holiday; it is a representation of our nation's pursuit of independence and freedom." Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's declaration, "All my hope is in the youth," underscores the significance of the mission that the youth undertakes. Our university educates our youth with the knowledge and instruments necessary for their age, while also endeavoring to mold them into individuals who are imbued with national and spiritual values. I extend my congratulations to the entire nation, with a special emphasis on our youth, on the occasion of the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth, and Sports Day. I also recall our precious martyrs with mercy and gratitude.

 The program concluded with the participants engaging in sports activities and visiting the stands that were established by a variety of institutions. The commemoration ceremony, which captivated the residents of Erzurum, was regarded as a significant occasion in which the youthful energy and national enthusiasm were united.
