Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the rectorof Atatürk University, visited Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi for the first time since assuming office. In his office, Governor Çiftçi greeted Hacımüftüoğlu and extended his best wishes for his new role. There were significant assessments of regional development, university-city collaboration, and Erzurum's future initiatives during the visit.

One of the primary objectives of the visit was to enhance the collaboration between the university and the city. According to  Hacımüftüoğlu, Atatürk University prioritizes initiatives that will foster the economic, cultural, and social advancement of Erzurum. Hacımüftüoğlu stated that the university is committed to enhancing the quality of life in Erzurum by implementing innovative projects, social services, and scientific research. He also stated that the university will maintain a close relationship with the Governorship throughout this process.

The significance of Atatürk University for Erzurum and the region was underscored by Governor Mustafa Çiftçi. Governor Çiftçi declared that the university is instrumental in the city's growth and that the Governor's Office will offer unwavering support for the implementation of Atatürk University's initiatives. Additionally, he underscored the necessity of fortifying the partnership between the university and the city in the realm of academics, as well as in cultural and social initiatives.

Rector Hacımüftüoğlu: "We are Prepared to Provide Erzurum with Our Technological Infrastructure and Services."

Projects intended to advance Erzurum and the Eastern Anatolia Region were deliberated upon during the meeting. Hacımüftüoğlu declared that they are prepared to provide Erzurum with the university's scientific and technological infrastructure and that they will collaborate with the Governor's Office on initiatives that promote regional development.

Governor Çiftçi conveyed his satisfaction with the university's initiatives in this direction and stated that they will provide support for all projects that will contribute to the development of Erzurum. Additionally, he declared that the university and local administrations will collaborate to bolster Erzurum's regional mission.

The visit concluded with mutual sincere wishes for goodwill. Rector Hacımüftüoğlu expressed gratitude to Governor Çiftçi for his gracious reception and pledged to enhance the university's partnership with the Governor's Office. Governor Çiftçi expressed his wish for Hacımüftüoğlu's success in his new role and expressed his willingness to collaborate on the future of Erzurum and the region.
