Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, Rector of Ataturk University, has received congratulations from visitors ever since entering office. In his office, Rector Hacımüftüoğlu holds meetings with representatives from many institutions and organisations to foster inter-institutional connections and uphold the culture of consultation.

Today, Rector Hacımüftüoğlu welcomed Gürsel Bedir, Provincial Director of Health; İbrahim Tör, Chief Physician of City Hospital; Ahmet Yer, Provincial Director of Culture; Ergün Ergin, Head of the Department of Culture and Social Affairs of the Metropolitan Municipality; Yakup Koçak, Director of Bilim Erzurum; and Mustafa Karataş, Provincial President of Memur-Sen.
At the meetings, the potential for collaboration with other institutions in the region and the contributions of Atatürk University in the fields of health, culture, youth, and athletics were discussed. The guests conveyed their hope that the university would take the lead in the projects to be completed for Erzurum and the surrounding area and wished Rector Hacımüftüoğlu success in his new his position.

Thanking his visitors, Rector Hacımüftüoğlu highlighted that Atatürk University is willing to work with any institution in order to support the region's social, cultural, and scientific development. He also said that in order to accomplish its aims on a national and worldwide scale, the institution would use a management strategy based on common sense and consultation.
