After assuming office, rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu of Atatürk University continues to receive congratulatory visits. Rector Hacımüftüoğlu was visited by the university community, local government representatives, and representatives of various civil society organizations in his office, who wished him success in his new role.

In his speeches during the visits, Rector Hacımüftüoğlu underscored the importance of Atatürk University's unifying function and pledged to make a concerted effort to establish a stress-free work environment that fosters happiness and tranquility. Hacımüftüoğlu stated, "Our university should be an institution that is not only academically successful but also one in which all individuals feel a sense of belonging." Our doors will be open to all. We will dedicate all of our resources to the benefit of our country and nation.

According to Rector Hacımüftüoğlu, the university's success will be influenced by the strong relationships it will forge with all of its stakeholders: "Our objective is to transform Atatürk University into an institution that influences the future of our nation, going beyond its status as a science center." This can be accomplished by enhancing the sense of belonging that each individual who works, studies, and contributes to our university experiences. We are of the opinion that success will naturally ensue as the level of belonging increases.

The meetings also addressed the university's social, cultural, and academic initiatives. Rector Hacımüftüoğlu declared that the university will be administered in a manner that is beneficial to society and fosters the development of innovative projects. "Our university will serve as a hub of interest for the entire population of Erzurum, in addition to our students and academic staff." Rector Hacımüftüoğlu emphasized that the university's doors are open to all, emphasizing that Atatürk University is a significant value not only for Erzurum but for all of Turkey. He also stated that the university is on its way to becoming a center of science and culture. In this regard, the structure is open to all kinds of cooperation and innovation.

The visits concluded with the exchange of mutual good wishes and ideas regarding the university's future initiatives.
