THE EDINBURGH EMBASSY CONCLUDED RECTOR HACIMÜFTÜOĞLU'S VISIT TO ENGLAND.

At the Edinburgh Embassy Building, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, theRector of Atatürk University, concluded his visit to the United Kingdom with a meeting with Demet Kayaoğlu, Turkey's Deputy Consul General for Scotland and Northern Ireland. During the meeting, Rector Hacımüftüoğlu, who had established a series of contacts to fortify the university's international partnerships, addressed critical matters and implemented measures to fortify academic ties between the two nations.

At the Edinburgh meeting, strategic topics included the expansion of exchange programs, the implementation of collaborative international projects, the sending of graduate students abroad, and the development of Atatürk University's academic relations with universities in Scotland and Ireland. In accordance with Atatürk University's internationalization objectives, these matters were assessed as critical milestones.

Rector Hacımüftüoğlu: "We will persist in our efforts to broaden our scientific partnerships."

Rector Hacımüftüoğlu expressed his gratitude to Acting Consul General Kayaoğlu for her contributions to Turkey's academic and diplomatic representation abroad in comments made following the meeting. Hacımüftüoğlu stated, "Our meeting was exceedingly productive due to Kayaoğlu's hospitality and constructive approach to collaboration." I extend my best wishes to him in this significant capacity, as she serves as a representative of our nation. Additionally, I would like to convey our enthusiasm for the initiatives that will advance our university's international cooperation vision.

Rector Hacımüftüoğlu reported that his visit to England was highly productive. He also stated that Atatürk University will persist in its efforts to expand its international collaboration and will continue to provide students and academics with a broader perspective through new projects and programs that align with the university's internationalization objectives.

The benefits obtained during the visit are considered a significant stride toward Atatürk University's objectives of expanding its international presence and diversifying its scientific collaboration. It is anticipated that the initiatives that were proposed during the meetings will contribute to the further strengthening of academic and cultural ties between the two countries.
