POLICE CHIEF YIRTAR CONVEYED HIS BEST WISHES TO RECTOR HACIMÜFTÜOĞLU
Professor Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the rector of Atatürk University, was visited by Erzurum Police Chief Kadir Yırtar in his office. University-police cooperation and city security concerns were addressed during the visit.
Police Chief Yırtar underscored the significance of university-police collaboration in his statement during the visit, stating, "Our university is one of the most significant institutions in our city." We are committed to ensuring the safety of all of our citizens, including our students, by conducting cooperative studies in accordance with the guidelines of university-police collaboration.
Rector Hacımüftüoğlu expressed his satisfaction with the visit and stated, "Our collaboration with our security forces is of paramount importance to the security and tranquility of our city." Our collaboration will be further fortified by these visits. We will collaborate to develop solutions to social issues by leveraging the academic expertise and skilled personnel of our university. With these reflections, I would like to extend my gratitude to our Police Chief, Kadir Yırtar, and extend my best wishes for the success of our entire police department.
Issues concerning the development of new initiatives between the two institutions were also addressed during the visit.
