At the commencement of the new academic year, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rectorof Atatürk University, joined students for lunch.

Vice rectors and advisors to the rector accompanied Rector Hacımüftüoğlu as he visited the central cafeteria and had lunch with students. Hacımüftüoğlu, who queued up with students and was served his supper at the cafeteria, which serves approximately 10,000 students daily, conversed with the students at their tables.

Prof. Dr. Hacımüftüoğlu listened to the students' problems, opinions, and requests, emphasizing that student satisfaction is one of the primary objectives of Atatürk University.

Rector Hacımüftüoğlu emphasized that all services are provided for the students, stating, "We are delighted to collaborate with our esteemed students who make substantial contributions to the growth and development of Atatürk University, which is a healthy, peaceful environment in which individuals can coexist and has adopted service as its mission." We strive to ensure that our youth are self-assured and contribute to their country in accordance with our scientific and moral principles. Our goal is for all students at our university to be youthful individuals who are capable of competing at an international level. In this regard, our university provides our students with opportunities that are both contemporary and transparent, all within the context of tolerance. Our objective is to foster the growth of our students by joining them in a variety of events, in addition to attending courses and campus activities. I was delighted to engage with our young people and harness their enthusiasm by implementing this methodology. He expressed his gratitude to the students who hosted us for lunch and wished the new academic year blessings.

After the lunch program, Rector Hacımüftüoğlu inspected various sections of the cafeteria, received information from the authorities, and visited the kiosks set up by student clubs and civil society organizations on the campus. Prof. Dr. Hacımüftüoğlu underscored the significance of students' involvement in a variety of activities and socializing, asserting that such events are crucial.
