RECTOR HACIMÜFTÜOĞLU EXPERIENCED THE JOY OF RAMADAN WITH STUDENTS
With traditional iftar gatherings, Atatürk University continues to partake in the spiritual atmosphere and bounties of the month of Ramadan. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, convened with students at the Central Dining Hall to participate in iftar, in addition to deans and unit managers.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Quran and continued with the recitation of the call to prayer and the breaking of fasts. After the iftar, Rector Hacımüftüoğlu underscored the spiritual atmosphere of the month of Ramadan, which cultivates unity and camaraderie. He stated, "Ramadan is a blessed month that enables us to showcase the most beautiful examples of solidarity and sharing." I am delighted to share the same table with you, our esteemed scholars, today. We are utilizing all of our resources to support your academic, social, and cultural growth.
Additionally, Rector Hacımüftüoğlu disclosed the academic and professional assistance that students receive, emphasizing the initiatives implemented to enhance student exchange programs. He also mentioned that 1,750 students were enrolled in the program to acquire work experience within the İŞ-Kur Youth Program. Additionally, he stated that new initiatives will be implemented to ensure that students are better prepared for the business world upon graduation.
The Erzurum National Technology Workshop was brought to the Atatürk University campus in collaboration with TÜBİTAK, according to Rector Hacımüftüoğlu. He also stated that this initiative will facilitate a more intimate encounter between students and science and technology. On April 25-26, 2025, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will participate in the Northeastern Anatolia Regional Career Fair, which he also announced.
After genuine discussions with the students, the iftar program concluded. The program was concluded by Rector Hacımüftüoğlu, who expressed his hope that Ramadan would bring calm and abundance.
