RECTOR HACIMÜFTÜOĞLU AT TEKNOFEST 2024
Teknofest 2024, which was held in Adana this year and garnered significant attention, continues to demonstrate Turkey's technological and innovative accomplishments.
Additionally, Atatürk University participated in the festival with its sections that closely monitor technological advancements. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, attended the event and established a succession of connections to introduce the university's technological infrastructure and provide an explanation of the work completed.
Initially, Rector Hacımüftüoğlu visited the Atatürk University booth and engaged in discussions with unit representatives and visitors. Hacımüftüoğlu, who disclosed the university's most recent technological endeavours, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiatives implemented by Atatürk University, particularly in the realm of domestic and national technology production. He underscored the significance of such organisations in the development of emerging talent.
Rector Hacımüftüoğlu engaged in a conversation with Baykar Board Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar regarding Atatürk University's defence industry initiatives and the advancement of its technological infrastructure as part of his interactions at Teknofest. Hacımüftüoğlu expressed his gratitude to Bayraktar for his contributions to Baykar's domestic and national technology initiative, stating, "Baykar's leading role in Turkey's journey to produce its own technology is a source of pride for all of us."

Additionally, Rector Hacımüftüoğlu visited the Havelsan and Defence Industry Presidency exhibits. Hacımüftüoğlu, who engaged in a conversation regarding the festival with Havelsan Board Chairman Hacı Ali Mantar, declared that Turkey has achieved a satisfactory level of defence technologies.
In assessing Teknofest's impact on the technological advancement of our nation, Rector Hacımüftüoğlu stated, "These events not only provide opportunities for the identification of emerging talent, but also facilitate the interaction between technology and society." We are honoured to be a part of this endeavour as Atatürk University.
The program of Teknofest concluded today with the presentation of awards to young individuals who emerged victorious in technology competitions and the remark of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The festival will continue to welcome technology aficionados until October 6.
