RECTOR HACIMÜFTÜOĞLU PARTICIPATED IN THE PROMOTIONAL MEETING ON THE THEME OF PRODUCTIVE HEALTH AND THE PROTOCOL ON PRODUCTIVE HEALTH COLLABORATIONS FROM IDEA TO PRODUCT

The "Productive Health Model" introduction meeting and "Protocol for Producing Health Collaborations from Idea to Product" ceremony were organized within the framework of the "Healthy Turkey Century" to promote productivity and innovative approaches in the fields of health technologies and health sciences. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, was in attendance.

The meeting, which took place at the Bilkent campus of the Ministry of Health, was attended by the Rectors of Atatürk University, Hacettepe, İstanbul, Ankara, Ege, Dokuz Eylül, and Erciyes Universities, as well as Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, and President of the Health Institutes of Turkey (TÜSEB) Prof. Dr. Ümit Kervan.


During the meeting, TÜSEB President Prof. Dr. Ümit Kervan gave a presentation on the "Productive Health Model" to the participants. He emphasized that public, private universities, and all stakeholders who will contribute to health innovation are with them and that the necessary support will be provided to everyone with an idea on the path from idea to product.

The Health Transformation Program's impact on the health sector was highlighted by Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu, who stated that there have been substantial changes and developments since 2010. The program contained the following information from 2002 to 2010.

"The Healthy Turkey Century Program is establishing an ecosystem that transitions from concept to product through the implementation of the Health Model that safeguards, cultivates, and generates."

Minister Memişoğlu stated, "We have resolved to execute the Healthy Turkey Century Program and the Health Model that Protects, Develops, and Produces under the guidance of our President." By uniting the Productive Health Model, which is a fundamental title of this new era, with our vision through TÜSEB, we are establishing an ecosystem that evolves from concept to product. Our objective is for this ecosystem to serve as the conduit for the National Health Technology initiative. He stated, "We have full confidence in Turkey's trained human power and experience, the accumulation of our academicians, the production capacity and entrepreneurship of our industrialists, and the encouraging role of our state and ministry while taking this step."

According to Rector Hacımüftüoğlu, Turkey is a nation that continues to offer health services to the international community in the field of health, despite the challenges it faces. Prof. Dr. Hacımüftüoğlu underscored that the health system's effectiveness was once again demonstrated in the face of significant challenges, including pandemics and earthquakes. He further stated that this accomplishment is the outcome of the collective efforts of healthcare professionals, scientists, and the nation. He also stated that they prioritize the transformation of innovative ideas into commercial products by enhancing their R&D and production capabilities in the health sector.
