Furkan Güneş and Ömer Faruk Aydın, students at the Faculty of Medicine at Atatürk University, paid a visit to Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu.

The "Pupill Health: Smart Medicine Tracking System" project, which was developed by successful students in collaboration with academicians from the Department of Pharmacology at Atatürk University, was the subject of discussion during the visit to the Rector's Office. In addition to receiving the first prize from TUBITAK, this innovative project also obtained significant success with the assistance of entrepreneurship.

The system, which is closely monitored by Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, who is one of the project's consultants, is a mobile application that enhances the safety of patients' treatment procedures and simplifies the use of medicine. Project developer Güneş and project manager Aydin stated in their project statement that there are significant issues with the use of medicine on a global scale, and that approximately 50% of the medications are administered inaccurately. Successful pupils stated in the information they provided that "one in every ten patients must be admitted to the hospital as a result of the improper use of medications." The Pupill Health system will be a significant step toward resolving this issue.

Rector Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu expressed his pride in his students' participation in such innovative and socially beneficial projects, stating, "At Atatürk University, our objective is to cultivate entrepreneurial young individuals who can not only achieve academic success but also develop solutions to social issues." I extend my congratulations to Furkan Güneş and his team on this significant accomplishment. I am of the opinion that their initiative will garner attention in the field of health and will serve as a solution to the current issue.
