On the occasion of the Ramadan Feast, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, and his wife, Prof. Dr. Esra Hacımüftüoğlu, visited infant and child patients undergoing treatment at the Atatürk University Research Hospital. The hospital administration and healthcare personnel accompanied the Hacımüftüoğlu couple, who celebrated the holiday of the patients and their families during the visit.
According to Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, holidays are unique occasions that fortify sentiments of unity, togetherness, and solidarity. He stated, "We wished to visit our children and their families who were compelled to experience the joy of the holiday in a hospital setting due to health issues and to communicate that we are with them." Their happiness is also our contentment. I am optimistic that their treatment procedures will be successfully completed as soon as possible, and I extend my best wishes for a swift recovery to all of them.
Prof. Dr. Esra Hacımüftüoğlu expressed that the visit was significant to them and stated, "It is a great pleasure for us to maintain the morale of our children and their families and to offer them moral support."
