MONITORING AND EVALUATION MEETING WAS ORGANISED FOR THE FACULTY OF SPORTS SCIENCES AND OLTU FACULTY OF APPLIED SCIENCES
Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, who came together with unit managers and academicians at the 2023 Academic Monitoring and Evaluation Meetings within the framework of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, listened to the academic performances of the units in 2022.
In the morning, the Faculty of Sports Sciences and in the afternoon, the administrators of Oltu Faculty of Applied Sciences made presentations to Rector Çomaklı and the management team about the work carried out in their units.
Research University performance indicators, cultural transformation studies, evaluation of academic performance results and TUBITAK competence analysis were held under 4 titles, while the development and performance of the units are also monitored in the presentations.
Rector Çomaklı stated that the successful places and the aspects that need to be developed will be determined in line with the data revealed at the meetings, and stated that the feedbacks of the studies carried out in the units were received.
Rector Çomaklı emphasised the value of the work of academicians in terms of R&D dimension, student-oriented activities and social contribution in the developments that Atatürk University needs: "We are in an effort not only statistically, but also how we can put forward high-level studies by appealing to your hearts. The projects, publications and all other studies that our academic staff working in all units of our university have and will put forward in terms of quality and quantity are of great importance to us. We can only compete with world universities with these studies. Our state and Higher Education Council ("HEC") have important expectations from universities. As scientists who endeavour to serve their country and nation, we should do our best to meet these expectations. At this point, as a university and administration, we are with you with all our units. Our unity will add strength to our university."
