THE FISHERIES FACULTY TROUT PRODUCTION FACILITY HAS BEEN OPENED WITH ITS RENEWED FACE

After a thorough renovation process, the Inland Fish Research and Application Unit (Trout Production Facility) within the Faculty of Fisheries of Atatürk University has been reopened in its new look. The academic staff, Vice Rectors, and Rector of Atatürk University, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, attended the opening ceremony.

 Rector Hacımüftüoğlu, who conducted a tour of the facility, stated that the facility, which has been modernised in accordance with international standards, will continue to contribute to regional and national fisheries through its enhanced systems, as well as educational and training initiatives. The centre, which is one of the most valuable facilities in the region, also plays a significant role in the aquaculture sector, according to Prof. Dr. Hacımüftüoğlu. He also stated that the facility will contribute to the effective work of the Faculty of Fisheries.

 Professor Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector, and his delegation visited the Experimental Research Unit of the Faculty of Fisheries and inspected the Aquarium Fish Production Unit following the inauguration ceremony. Rector Hacımüftüoğlu, who received information from the authorities regarding the production unit, declared that they would provide support for the studies that will bolster the Aquarium Fish Production Unit's comprehensiveness, which is a contributor to education and research.

 During the visit, Dean of the Faculty Prof. Dr. Telat Yanık provided Rector Hacımüftüoğlu and his delegation with comprehensive information regarding the studies and projects that had been conducted. The program concluded with an exchange of information with faculty members.
