Under the chairmanship of Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, 2023 Academic Monitoring and Evaluation Meetings continue within the framework of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project with the participation of unit managers and academicians.

Rector Çomaklı and his management team, who met with the academicians of the Faculty of Aquaculture in the morning and the Faculty of Science in the afternoon in the Blue Hall of the Culture Centre, made presentations to the deans of faculties and college directors about the work carried out in their units.

Research University performance indicators, cultural transformation studies, evaluation of academic performance results and TUBITAK competence analysis were made under 4 headings, while developments and obstacles were also monitored in the presentations.

Rector Çomaklı stated that the progress towards the road map determined in the light of the studies carried out will be observed, and that the successful places and the aspects that need to be developed will be determined in line with the data, and that the feedbacks of the studies carried out in faculties and vocational schools are also received.

Rector Çomaklı: "The institutional development of our university will only be possible with the high belonging and devoted efforts of all its members. I firmly believe that our members are willing to serve sacrificially in line with common goals and objectives in order to move our institution forward. As a university, we carry out our studies with the aim of becoming a research-oriented university that produces qualified scientific knowledge at a universal level, conducts R&D activities, produces technology, transforms it into patents and offers the science it produces for the benefit of society. Scientists have important duties in achieving the national and international goals of our university."
