FEBRUARY SCIENTIFIC INCENTIVE CEREMONY WAS HELD

Academics who have distinguished themselves in the national and international scientific community through their scientific research continue to be honored at Atatürk University with Scientific Incentive Ceremonies. These ceremonies are organized in accordance with the university's guiding principle of "Recognizing success and valuing effort: Academics' accomplishments are duly acknowledged." Rector of Atatürk University, Professor Dr. Ömer Çomaklı bestowed the accolades.

In attendance at the ceremony held at the National Will Hall on 15 July and attended by Ağrı İbrahim Çecen University Rector Prof. Dr. Abdulhalik Karabulut, Rector Çomaklı extended his felicitations to the academics for their endeavors and accomplishments grounded in research. Their notable contributions include publications, patents, projects, and the establishment of companies.

In his address, Rector Karabulut, whose staff is affiliated with Atatürk University and who was honored with a certificate of merit by Rector Çomaklı for the article he authored, stated that he bequeathed the award to Atatürk University in order to provide financial support for the iftar dinner of the students.

Rector Çomaklı expressed gratitude to Rector Karabulut for this significant contribution, stating that thousands of students at Atatürk University are served iftar meals daily, a privilege made possible by their cooperation and significant sacrifices. This practice will continue for the duration of the month of Ramadan.

"I am certain that our members are completely committed to serving our institution selflessly."

Rector Çomaklı began his address by expressing his hope that Ramadan would bestow good fortune upon our city, nation, and the entire Islamic world. He further expressed his eagerness to partake in numerous additional Ramadans, during which he could witness the Night of Power and Eid al-Fitr.

In his address, Rector Çomaklı affirmed that the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, an endeavor aimed at logically designing the future of Atatürk University, formulating a vision for its transformation, and identifying the requisite strategies and action plans, remains active in the coming year. He also lauded the exemplary efforts and accomplishments of every scientist affiliated with Atatürk University. He declared that they are delighted to recognize his accomplishments.

Rector Çomaklı asserted that the accolades bestowed upon scholars on domestic and global stages bolster the stature of Atatürk University. He further elaborated: "Awards obtained in recognition of scholarly accumulation—articles, publications, patents, projects, and companies—are, in fact, accolades received upon the culmination of an academic career." I possess complete confidence in the altruistic nature of our members as they strive to advance our institution in accordance with shared goals and objectives. "I wish to convey my heartfelt appreciation to all our members who conduct these pivotal studies that bring about a substantial paradigm shift for our university, and extend my best wishes for their continued success in their endeavors," he continued.
