Deputy Chairman of the Board of Education and Discipline of the Ministry of National Education Dr. Hüseyin Korkut visited Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı. During the visit, Dr. Korkut is accompanied by Cemil İlbaş, the Provincial Director of Family Labor and Social Services, and also the President of Erzurum Imam Hatipliler Association (ERZİMDER).

Expressing his satisfaction by hosting his guests at the Rectorate, Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı gave information about Atatürk University to his guests, and he also talked about the possibilities of the title of Research University, which was recently given by CHE. Stating that Atatürk University has become a giant education center with the number of students approaching 500 thousand, Rector Çomaklı said that graduates undertake important tasks in various regions of Turkey.

Stating that they are always in favor of innovative and quality education as the Ministry of National Education Board of Education and Discipline, Dr. Hüseyin Korkut said they would cooperate with Atatürk University, the home of education, in various fields.

Korkut said that he started his education life in Erzurum, adding that the land of Dadaşlar was in a different position for him and that he followed the events in Erzurum closely.
