Major General Veli Tarakçı, 9th Army Corps Commander, paid a return visit to Rector Çomaklı.

During the visit, Rector Çomaklı consulted with Major General Tarakçı about Erzurum and the university studies.

Rector Çomaklı who informed the 9th Corps Commander Tarakçı about Atatürk University's New Generation University Design and Transformation Project pointed out that the university is one of the outstanding institutions serving the people of Erzurum.

Çomaklı stated: ''Erzurum will gain the position it deserves thanks to Erzurum-lover administrators in the areas of administration, military and jurisdiction. The only goal of the managers of this city, working in harmony with each other, is to raise Erzurum to the highest points in development. Atatürk University, which carries out its studies accordingly, significantly contributes to the development with its collaborations in the national and international platforms. Thanking the Rector Çomaklı for his hospitality, Major General Tarakçı said that he closely followed the work of Atatürk University and added that the cooperation between the institutions is also important for them.
