HISTORY UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM ACCREDITED

Atatürk University Faculty of Letters, History Undergraduate Program has been accredited for 2 years.

Atatürk University Faculty of Letters, History Undergraduate Program was accredited until September 30, 2024 by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Science, Literature, Science-Literature, Language-History and Geography Faculties Education Programs (FEDEK). With this result, the History Undergraduate Program has become the first program to be evaluated and accredited among the programs of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

Accreditation is one of the Priority Targets 

Emphasizing that this success has been achieved as a result of the joint efforts and endeavours of the Head of the Department of History Undergraduate Program and the assistants, academic members and the lecturers of the department, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı said that they have attached importance to accreditation as the university administration since the first day they took office. “Accreditation processes are one of our policies and goals that we prioritize as university administration. Every year, we make great efforts to ensure that our program is accredited and that the quality education they provide is registered. In this context, I am happy that the History Department of Faculty of Letters, one of the most established faculties of our university, has been accredited, and I congratulate the entire history department family for reaching a certain institutional structure like our other programs.” he finished his words.

About FEDEK

FEDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Curriculum Evaluation and Accreditation of Faculties of Science, Literature, Science - Literature, Language and History - Geography) was established to contribute to the improvement of education, scientific research and service quality in the Faculties of Arts and Sciences in Turkey, which has been conducting accreditation, evaluation and information studies for the curricula of Faculties of Science, Literature, Science-Literature, Language and History-Geography in different disciplines.
