EXISTING PROTOCOLS WITH TABRIZ ISLAMIC ARTS UNIVERSITY RENEWED

Adding a new one to the agreements it has made on the way to becoming a world university, Atatürk University continues its activities with the mission of internationalization by signing scientific and cultural protocols with various universities worldwide.

In this context, Iran-Tabriz Islamic Arts University Rector Prof. Dr. Mohammadali Kaynejad and his team, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı visited the Faculty of Architecture and Design and the Faculty of Fine Arts, specifically at the university.

With the visit, the existing cooperation protocol between the two universities was re-signed by Rector Çomaklı and Rector Kaynejad. In the protocol, which was agreed on education and research-based student and academic staff exchange, planning joint scientific studies, providing double degrees and joint consultancy in selected programs, and opening exhibitions, a consensus was reached on technical visits.

Speaking at the signing ceremony held at the Rector's Office, Rector Prof. Dr. Mohammadali Kaynejad remarked that they are very pleased to make an agreement with one of the most successful universities in Turkey, such as Atatürk University. Rector Keynejad, who stated that the cooperation and companionship between the countries would be strengthened with the agreement, said that the two universities have good things to share with each other.

“By Combining Our Experiences, We Can Do Good Things”

Rector Çomaklı pointed out that as Atatürk University, the bilateral cooperation efforts in line with the national and international leadership mission, especially in its sister city Tabriz, continue to increase, and said that much closer and more effective studies will be carried out with Tabriz Islamic Arts University.

Rector Çomaklı, who stated that there are many Iranian undergraduate and graduate students studying at Atatürk University, said: “As a result of agreements, we carry out good works by combining our experiences. This paves the way for both cultural diversity and scientific productivity. As a university, we believe that the successful results that have gained momentum in recent years are directly proportional to the collaborations made. In addition to our students and academicians who leave our country and our university, the students and academicians we host are the most important components of our mission to be a university for the world. For this reason, we do our best to meet the needs of our Iranian students as well as all our guest students studying here. According to our belief, this friendship between the two brotherly countries will be forever.”

The visit ended with the signing of the protocol text and the presentation of gifts.
