TEKNOFEST 2022 SEMINAR HELD
An Information Seminar was held for the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, which is the world's largest technology festival to be held in Samsun this year.
A meeting was held with the presentation of TEKNOFEST Executive Board Member and T3 Foundation Board Member Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır for TEKNOFEST 2022, which was held in Istanbul last year with the participation of 1 million 720 thousand visitors and will be hosted by Samsun, where the fire of the National Struggle was lit this year. In addition to Atatürk University, the program that takes place online; Kastamonu University, Istanbul Cerrahpasa University, Giresun University, Yıldız Technical University and Ankara University participated.
The Festival Will Host 39 Different Technology Competitions
TEKNOFEST Executive Board Member and T3 Foundation Board Member Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır, who started his speech by stating that the students who participated in the festivals held so far have gained significant experiences and gained significant gains in the process after their graduation, said: “Every year, more competition categories are opened than the previous year. Our festival will host a total of 39 different technology competitions, including the Vertical Landing Rocket, Barrier-Free Living Technologies, High School Students Climate Change Research and Hyperloop Development Competitions, which will be held for the first time. We expect our students and competitors to reveal their full potential at TEKNOFEST, which will be held for the first time in the Black Sea region. Because we think that the experiences they will gain in such a giant organization will guide them in shaping their own future. In this context, we look forward to the day when our festival, which will add strength and value to our country's horizon, will be held.”

Hıdır also gave information about the competition categories in TEKNOFEST 2022: In the seminar where deans, coordinators, unit managers, team advisors, and many students from Atatürk University participated, it was emphasized that TEKNOFEST 2022 is prepared for TEKNOFEST 2022 with a full bridle, both with its infrastructure works and its organizational capability. Relevant unit managers stated that they have carried out the necessary activities for the festival, of which Atatürk University is also a stakeholder, and stated that they sincerely believe that it will be a successful event both in terms of organizing the organization and for the students participating in the competitions.
Rector Çomaklı: "Whatever the outcome, our Turkey will win"
Making a brief assessment about TEKNOFEST 2022, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, on the other hand, stated that he believes that the successes achieved in the events held in previous years will be achieved in the upcoming festival as well: “We attach great importance to Atatürk University students to experience this excitement and experience on site. In this context, we are ready to provide all kinds of support and opportunities for the TEKNOFEST 2022 preparation process. We see TEKNOFEST as a stimulating and motivating organization in terms of the development of our country, taking firm steps towards the future and having a say. With these thoughts, I hope it will be a smooth event and I wish success to all students participating in the competition. Regardless of the results, our Turkey will be the winner," he said.
The meeting ended with the opinions and suggestions of the team consultants regarding TEKNOFEST 2022.
