Atatürk University students, who made their mark on TEKNOFEST 2022 held at Samsun Çarşamba Airport in September with their technological studies and projects they developed,  visited Prof. Dr.Ömer Çomaklı in his office.

The teams, who won three first-place, one-second place, and one third-place in the competitions and received their awards from the hands of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, shared their success with Rector Çomaklı. With the quality and innovative education provided by Atatürk University, the students who ranked in the categories of rocket technology, education, health, artificial intelligence, and sports said that they would develop their studies and make innovations that will make the name of Atatürk University known in the future.

“We Aim To Raise Generations That Keep Up With The Times”

Rector Çomaklı stated that they are proud of this success achieved by Atatürk University students and stated that they aim to raise generations who keep up with the times and closely follow the developing technology, and that they have taken steps in this direction.

Stating that students who participated in the competition at the world's most important technology festival such as TEKNOFEST and won degrees with the projects they developed will shed light on the future of Atatürk University, Prof. Dr. Çomaklı said: “As a university, we are working towards the vision of the Domestic and National Technology Move that our country has put forward especially in recent years. Our Eastern Anatolia Observatory (DAG), which is among the vision projects of the Republic of Turkey, will be in a guiding position in the fields of space, aviation and defense technologies. We mobilize all our resources by giving all kinds of support to our students who carry out such scientific projects and studies, and we will continue to do whatever it takes to make their dreams come true. I would like to congratulate our students who ranked high on the occasion of their visit and wish them continued success.”

The visit ended with Rector Çomaklı giving gifts to the students.
