A MEETING FOR MONITORING AND EVALUATION WAS CONDUCTED FOR THE MEDICAL AND DENTAL FACULTIES.

The 2023 Academic Monitoring and Evaluation Meetings, which are conducted under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, continue with the participation of unit administrators and academics as part of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project at Atatürk University.

Rector Çomaklı and the management team convened a gathering in the Blue Hall of the Cultural Center, where academics from the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Dentistry participated in the morning and afternoon sessions, respectively. During the Monitoring and Evaluation Meetings, faculty deans and school heads delivered presentations pertaining to the progress achieved within their respective departments.

The research is conducted under four distinct themes: cultural transformation studies, evaluation of academic performance results, and TÜBİTAK competency analysis. In the presentations, advancements and obstacles are also closely monitored.

Rector Çomaklı and the deans and directors will convene to assess the advancements made in accordance with the established road map. The evaluation will be based on data analysis, which will identify successful areas and areas requiring improvement. Additionally, the evaluation will incorporate feedback from studies conducted in faculties and vocational schools.

Rector Çomaklı asserted that the aforementioned meetings played a substantial role in enhancing the reputation of Atatürk University. He stated, "As an institution, we persist in our endeavors to transform into a research-driven establishment that generates scientific knowledge of universal caliber, conducts research and development (R&D) endeavors, fabricates technology, patents it, and disseminates the science it generates for societal betterment." Our objective is to surpass our present positions in all domains through the implementation of new projects and the completion of studies. The academic community's efforts positively impact both the enhancement of academic standards and the growth of a sense of community.
