Ataturk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) 1001 (2023 2nd Term and Social and Humanities 100th year special call) and Horizon Europe programme PRIMA, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ayşe Bayrakçeken, Project Development and Coordination Office Coordinator Prof. Dr. Elif Çadırcı and her assistants Assoc. Dr. Mehmet Yılmaz and Assoc. Dr. Bilal Nişancı visited to congratulate and celebrate the success of the academics whose projects were supported.
During the visit, Prof. Dr. Gonca Alak, whose PRIMA project is supported, and academicians whose TÜBİTAK 1001 projects are supported; Prof. Dr. Ahmet Şahin Zaimoğlu, Prof. Dr. Adem Peker, Assoc. Dr. Selim Çomaklı, Assoc. Dr. Hatice Bayrakçeken, Assoc. Dr. Nihangül Daştan and Assoc. Assist. Dr. Ebru Ocakcı were congratulated.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Recep Sadeler, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Prof. Dr. Yavuz Selim Sağlam, Dean of the Faculty of Letters Prof. Dr. Dilaver Düzgün, Dean of the Faculty of Aquaculture Prof. Dr. Telat Yanık and Deputy Deans of Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education Assoc. Dr. Selçuk Ilgaz and Assoc. Dr. Mehmet Buğra Özhan accompanied the visits.
Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı stated that these visits highlighted the importance Atatürk University attaches to research and technological developments and the outstanding work of its academics, and said that the achievements of academics who stand out with their devoted work in the scientific and technological field are proud.
Stating that the projects are a strong proof of Atatürk University's research capacity and scientific innovation approach, Rector Çomaklı added that the Project Development and Support Office provides support for the design and development processes of the projects and provides consultancy services for faculty members to transform their ideas into projects.
