Rector Çomaklı: "We Should Raise Awareness of Our Children's Being Able to Generate Projects at an Early Age"
Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, Rector of Atatürk University, who stroke up that they did not only give importance to education but also the technological developments were among their priorities as a university stated that: "We must educate our children in the early years in line with the awareness of producing a project and scientific thought'' referring to a proverb: ''as the twig is bent, so grows the tree.'' and he added that : ''Only in this way, we can bring our children's rich imagination world into being a productive and fruitful structure. As you all know, today the most expensive investment tool stands as a human being. The investment made for younger generations may give fruit after many years, but the return of this investment is as big as the labour given.''
''We Shouldn't Give Opportunity for Those Who Want to Internally and Externally Tempt the Minds of Our Young People Who Are the Assurance of Our Country.''
As the science producing institutions of the country, we must protect the investments made for the future generations and do our best to prevent them from being bereaved. We shouldn't give opportunity for those who want to internally and externally tempt the minds of our young people who are the assurance of our country. In this respect, we must fully educate our children both in terms of knowledge and skills as well as national and spiritual values. We should bring up our children as individuals who have the future vision of our government by supporting the education given in our schools with activities like this.
"We do not doubt that our children will offer great contributions to our homeland and humanity"
Rector Çomaklı who expressed that they were very happy to be part of this project which was organized for the settlement of the project culture in the mind of our children and produced more successful results every passing year stated that: ''There is no doubt that our children, whom we connect with great hopes, will transform the richness in their imaginary world into concrete projects and offer great contributions to our homeland and humanity. Hereby, I intimately greet our young people who are among us with their precious projects today, our teachers and administrators who support them and guide them with regard to the project generation. I would like to thank all of my friends who have carried out this process with all this effort and self-sacrifice and wish that the work done will conduce to the benefit of our country and our people.''
