As a result of the declaration of Erzurum Provincial Directorate for National Education on March 14, Ataturk University Private Foundation Schools, with their 48 applications to the Secondary School Project Competition of Turkey Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK), had been the schools which submitted the projects most from Erzurum.

Emphasizing that most students realized what they could do with the help of TÜBİTAK Project Competitions; Private Foundation Schools Campus Director Erdal Karagülle, who supported students to make them gain research skills and encouraged them, stated that in order to make the country and future generations qualified a lot and as Ataturk University Private Foundation School with reference to the slogan “ the school that works ,produces and thinks” with their 48 applications to the Secondary School Project Competition of TUBITAK. he also added that they were the school which submitted the projects most and in this respect, they felt the right pride of being the school which researched a lot and turned them into projects throughout the province.

 Indicating that it was very important for students to have the ability to conduct research in order to reflect their existing potential and realize themselves in today's education world, Private Foundation Schools Campus Director Erdal Karagülle said they were applying some methods to make the students identify problems according to their developmental stages, create appropriate and creative solution options. He also added that they were using these methods to make them individuals who were researching, collecting information and could analyse this information.

Emphasizing that the students who learned to research, prepared projects by using scientific methods had the capability to understand world completely, Karagül by indicating that our youth who wonder, research and anlyse will  develop our country, stated that they knew the producing countries were giving importance to R&D studies and with investing to human resource by producing and marketing information and  technology ,they were increasing their prosperity.

The Rector Çomaklı: “We Prepare Our Students for Scientific Education  From Primary School”

Expressing that they were proud of the achievements of the Foundation Schools, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı said: “We are aware that the education of the future will be based on practice and project. We are educating our students studying in our foundation schools to keep up with the times. We are providing all the required courses from robotic coding to project preparation courses and preparing our students for scientific education from primary school. All students in our school are participating in project activities under the guidance of teachers. In this scope, I congratulate the students and teachers of the Foundation School which submitted the projects most in Erzurum to Secondary School Project Competition of TUBITAK and wish them continued success.”
