A PRELIMINARY MEETING WAS HELD FOR THE “CALL FOR HIGH TECHNOLOGY PLATFORMS” WITHIN THE SCOPE OF T.S.T.R.I. 1004 PROGRAM

The preliminary meeting for the "High Technology Platforms Call" was held at Atatürk University within the scope of the T.S.T.R.I. Center of Excellence Support Program (1004 Program).

 At the T.S.T.R.I. (Turkish Scientific and Technical Research Institute) 1004 Program information meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı with the participation of expert faculty members from the fields of Chemistry and Food Supply Security, information about the T.S.T.R.I. 1004 Center of Excellence Support Program and the steps to be taken in order to become an executive institution were conveyed.

In the priority areas determined within the scope of national targets and policies, in order for the research infrastructures of higher education institutions to become a center of excellence and specialization by collaborating with R&D/Design centers and public R&D units; The T.S.T.R.I. 1004 Program, which aims to support research programs with traceable objectives, scientific quality, and high commercialization potential, is also important for Atatürk University.

“Only Research Universities Determined by CHE Can Apply to T.S.T.R.I. 1004 Program”

Rector Çomaklı stated that only the research universities determined by CHE and the centers qualified under the Law No. 6550 can apply to the High Technology Platforms Call within the scope of the T.S.T.R.I. 1004 Program as the Research Program Manager Organization (APYÖK). He stated that he was entitled to submit a project proposal as the University and in this context, the research projects he would develop for the Chemistry and Food Supply Security Sectors within the scope of the 11th Development Plan with which the University was matched could be supported.
