Major General Fedai Ünsal, who was appointed as the Commander of the 9th Corps and Garrison with the publication of the decisions regarding the last assignments in the Official Gazette, paid a return visit to Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı.

Welcoming his guest in the Rectorate office, Prof. Dr. Çomaklı expressed his satisfaction with the visit and wished Major General Ünsal success in his new position. Stating that both institutions have always been united under a common denominator from past to present, Rector Çomaklı said that the Turkish military has always stood by the people under all circumstances, as seen in the Kahramanmaraş earthquake.

Major General Fedai Ünsal stated that he was pleased to be appointed to Erzurum, the jewel of the east, to serve this ancient city and that he adapted very quickly to the warm people of the city, and emphasised that as the Turkish Armed Forces, they are always at the service of the Turkish people.

Stating that he continues his visits with the idea of how we can act in cooperation with which institution, Ünsal thanked Rector Çomaklı for his hospitality.

The visit ended with goodwill wishes.
