The rector of Atatürk University Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı hosted Gendarmerie Regional Commander Major General Dr.Güray Alpar who retired in his office.

Rector  Çomaklı empasized that Gendarmerie Regional Command is an important stakeholder. He said, “We workedin the social responsibility projects as well as the issues about the general functioning with our regional commander Güray Alpar. I thank Güray Pasha because of his remarkable efforts and devotedly endeavors in order to provide the safetyof life and property of our citizens and provide the peace and safety of our society and I wish him a healthy and peaceful future.”

Gendarmerie Regional Commander Major General Dr.Güray Alpar said that the state institutions and organisations, notably Erzurum people, had supported him during his appointment too much. He added that he made nice and lasting friends and felt honored because he worked in such a special city with historic fabric and cultural identity. Alpar implied that he had worked in a mutual good intention and with the cooperation of Atatürk University. He thanked Prof. Dr.Ömer Çomaklı because of his close interest.
