Attached to the High Technology Community operating under the Atatürk University Faculty of Engineering, the ATEC team qualified to participate in the TEKNOFEST 2024 Tourism Technologies Finals to be held in Antalya and attained a notable success with a score of 85.33 passing the PDR + Video stage.

Under its SmartStay concept, the team will compete in the finals this year. Using the possibilities presented by technology with a strategy centred on customer happiness in the hotel industry, the project stands out as a mobile application development one that streamlines hotel stays and boosts security. This creative approach not only gives visitors quick access to amenities but also operational efficiency to hotel management as it gives staff members the chance to maximise productivity and improve communication.

Supervised by Research Assistant Rabiye Kılıç, ATEC developed SmartStay with its team comprising Erhan Kahveci, Erhan Yüksel Turgut, Enes Rıdvan Şahin, Ferdi Demir, Tunahan Özgenç, Hakan Enes Demir, Emre Aktay; with its user-friendly interface and unique features, it represents a transformation intertwined with technology in the hotel sector and aims to strengthen the competitive advantage of businesses while increasing customer satisfaction.
