Every year, Atatürk University effectively fulfils its mission to serve as a bridge between science and culture by providing education to hundreds of international students from a variety of countries. The university administration's objective is to expand the availability of high-quality educational services to a greater number of students by fostering international collaboration. In this context, Atatürk University continues to make a significant contribution to the country's higher education by graduating thousands of students during the 2023-2024 academic year.
"We are proud to host international students"
In this regard, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı delivered a speech in which he expressed his joy at being present at the graduation ceremony of international students. He stated, "Today, I am extremely pleased to witness the graduation of our students who have successfully completed their education from all over the world." At Atatürk University, we are honoured to accommodate international students. Upon your return to your respective countries, you will serve as volunteer ambassadors for Turkey, transferring the knowledge and experiences you have acquired here to your own communities."
The years they spent at Atatürk University were unforgettable for the graduates: "We have formed very strong friendships here, we have experienced intercultural fusion, and we have received an academically rigorous education. As we return to our respective countries, we now view ourselves and our future with enhanced confidence." Atatürk University became our family, and Erzurum became our home. I would like to extend my gratitude to our Rector, professors, and fellow students for creating a welcoming environment for us. We will always have our souls here, even if we return to our country.
The graduation ceremony concluded with the distribution of plaques and certificates.
