The 4th International Mediterranean and 3rd International 8th National Pediatric Nursing Congress, hosted by Atatürk University Nursing Faculty, was held at the Nene Hatun Cultural Center.

The Pediatric Nursing Congress, which is the first congress to combine three congresses, was held this year in memory of the late Prof Dr. Duygu Arıkan, a member of Atatürk University Child Health and Diseases Nursing Department.

The congress, which was held with 192 participants and 122 guests from 8 international and 55 national universities, was organized with the main theme of “Being a Child Today and in the Future, Healthy Growth and Development is the Right of Every Child”, and it was managed by children as 1 session chair and 2 panelists, since it is a children's congress.

In the sessions organized in 1 main hall and 5 side halls, a total of 42 sessions, 21 oral presentation sessions, 4 poster presentation sessions, 1 course and 1 forum were held. Second and third place awards found their owners.

Stating that the 4th International Mediterranean and the 3rd International 8th National Pediatric Nursing Congress, which is the first congress to combine 3 congresses, have produced healthy results in terms of the future and development of children, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Prof. Dr. Mağfiret Kaşıkçı thanked Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, who mobilized all the possibilities of the university in the realization of the congress.
