The Ministry of Youth and Sports organized the University Student Clubs-Societies Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES) inauguration at the Atatürk University Nene Hatun Cultural Center, which was attended by a large number of individuals.

The Erzurum Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate and Atatürk University collaborated to coordinate an event that disseminated comprehensive information regarding the application processes and the assistance offered to student clubs.

Atatürk University Vice President Prof. Dr. Hasan Yılmaz and Youth and Sports Provincial Director Levent Çakmur delivered the inaugural speeches of the program. Then, Mehmet Emin Daş and Emine Er Aksakallı, experts from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, provided the student club representatives and advisors with an explanation of the opportunities provided by the ÜNİDES program.

The Q&A session featured Atatürk University Vice Presidents Prof. Dr. Hasan Yılmaz and Prof. Dr. Bülent Çavuşoğlu, Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Levent Çakmur, Dean of the Student Dean Yaşar Totik, Head of the Health, Culture and Sports Department Erdal Korkmaz, Deputy Secretary General Mevlüt Korkmaz, and experts from the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The event was attended by approximately 250 individuals.

It was emphasized that the ÜNİDES program offers in-kind support of up to 50,000 TL for local initiatives and 100,000 TL for national projects to university student clubs. It was asserted that these incentives are a significant source of inspiration for student organizations to execute their initiatives.

The event concluded with a coffee break following a group photo shoot, during which student organization representatives had the chance to convene and exchange ideas.

Vice Rector Hasan Yılmaz stated that the ÜNİDES launch hosted by Atatürk University is intended to support the innovative ideas of young people and contribute to the development of students. He also expressed his gratitude to Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu for his support and close interest in the event.
