Aytim Corporate Group President Sevda Aydın, who came to Atatürk University within the scope of University-Industry cooperation, and company managers, visited Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı.

Rector Çomaklı, who hosted the representatives of Aytim Group of Companies, who provide employment to Erzurum in various fields, exchanged ideas with Sevda Aydın and company managers about the new projects to be produced.

Rector Çomaklı, who gave information to his guests about the studies carried out by the university, talked about the Covid-19 studies carried out throughout the university and evaluated the drugs, devices, and vaccines produced against Covid-19.

Ataturk University, highlighting that our university is intertwined with that of collective Rector Çomaklı: "Monitoring and Evaluation in Higher Education published by the University General Report 2020, it became the first university in the field of Social Responsibility in 475 projects in Turkey. On the other hand, the telescope of the Eastern Anatolian Observatory (DAG), which is among the 2023 Vision Projects of our country and one of the important goals of the National Space Program, reached Erzurum. We will complete our work in a short time and hopefully get the first light from the observatory at the end of 2022 ”.

Expressing that they, as Aytim Group, follow Atatürk University closely and as an Erzurum citizen, she is proud of the work done, Sevda Aydın stated that they will be pleased to sign such projects within the framework of University-Industry collaborations.

Stating that they want to benefit from the scientific infrastructure of Atatürk University in terms of textiles, Aydın stated that R&D studies can be carried out for new fabric types and that both institutions take part in international platforms will bring new opportunities to Erzurum.
