University Community Integration In Full Swing


The Rector of Atatürk University Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı continues his visits to contribute to the university-community integration and the culture of consultation without deceleration. In this context, Rector Çomaklı visited The Independent Industrialists ' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD) with the Erzurum provincial representative office and the head of the Department of Education Bir-Sen No. 1. During the visit of MUSIAD to the Rector Çomakli; Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ayhan Çelik, Rector Advisor and BAP Coordinator Prof. Dr. Atilla Keskin, Project Office Coordinator Prof. Dr. Hasan Özdemir, Director of Food and Animal Husbandry Application and Research Center Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yaprak, Plant Production Application and Research Center Director Prof. Dr. Adem Aksoy and Teknokent Director Associate Professor Dr. Ersin Karaman were accompanied.

President Çomaklı, who was informed about the project proposals set out in the search conference on “the Future of Erzurum” held recently within Atatürk University, said that academicians work in an integrated way with the business world and provide consultancy services in many sectors within this context. Çomaklı, who received information from President Fuat Demir about the projects that Müsiad is currently carrying out, said that the project put into practice by the association, especially in the field of sharp and goat livestock, is exciting and will benefit the added value of the city significantly.

Stating that they would be pleased to see Musiad at the Eastern Anatolia Regional Career Fair to be held on 5-6 March 2020 under the auspices of the presidency and hosted by Atatürk University, Rector Çomaklı thanked President Demir and the members of the association for their hospitality.

Rector Çomaklı visited Eğitim Bir-Sen No. 1 Branch Presidency
Rector Çomaklı met with the president of the Branch 1 and the union members while working Sunday. Çomaklı stated that unionism is an important civil society movement and expressed that they have given their best support to all kinds of work for the benefit of the nation and employees by reinforcing their feelings of brotherhood and that they have adopted a management approach that concerns the problems of the employees and makes intense efforts towards solving the problems.The president of the branch, Hüsrev Yaşa, said that Rector Çomaklı had opened the doors of the university to everyone and stressed that they were ready to contribute to the University-City merger as a union at this point. Stating that they have taken steps to dominate the understanding of friendship and brotherhood, President Yaşa pointed out that they plan to benefit from the university to the maximum extent academically and thanked Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı  because of the close attention and the opportunities provided by him.
