The METU Informatics Institute's University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) Research Laboratory has released Turkey data for 2023-2024. As a consequence, Atatürk University, which was positioned eleventh among universities equipped with a Faculty of Medicine in 2022-2023, ascended one position to enter the top ten in 2023-2024.

In the rankings of universities, Atatürk University, which has maintained its ascent through notable accomplishments in the Faculty of Medicine, state universities, and all universities, ascended two positions to thirteenth in 2023-2024. In 2022-2023, it was positioned fifteenth in the state university rankings.

Atatürk University, previously positioned 18th in the classification of all universities (including foundation universities), experienced a three-place ascent to 15th in the 2023-2024 edition.

Since its inception, Atatürk University has made substantial contributions to its region, country, and the scientific community. Recognized as one of the most seasoned and well-equipped universities in Turkey, its scientific research continues to contend with that of universities around the globe.

In this context, 188 universities were ranked in accordance with the URAP Research Laboratory's investigation, which considered the total score of faculty members'/students' publications in 2023-2024 in addition to the scores for scientific documents, articles, and doctoral theses.

According to the rector, Professor, Dr. Ömer Çomaklı the university maintained its ascent across all categories in the prestigious URAP University Rankings for 2023-2024. These rankings are compiled by organizations that monitor universities around the globe. Çomaklı conveyed his sense of pride and delight regarding the accomplishments of Atatürk University.

Rector Çomaklı asserted that Atatürk University, in alignment with the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, conducts scientific and academic research as its principal responsibility, in addition to social and cultural activities. He further stated that the institution's accomplishments on a national and international level were attributable to the appropriate measures it implemented.

"We ought to utilize our expertise and experience to foster greater prosperity within our nation."

We, as a university, will contribute to the growth of the national income and the production and export of information and technologies within our nation. We, as a university, must maximize the application of our expertise and knowledge to ensure the prosperity of our nation. We must thus produce more and work more diligently. Superior to our current capabilities, we are perpetually modernizing our technological infrastructure so as to expand the scope of our scientific investigations and improve the working conditions of our faculty. The arduous labor of our university's members consistently raises the standard of achievement for our institution.
