PRAISE FROM GOVERNOR ÇIFTÇI TO ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY PUBLISHING HOUSE…

Since 1957, Atatürk University Publishing House has continued to contribute to international academic and scientific literature in the disciplines of social sciences, educational sciences, health sciences, science and engineering sciences, arts and sports.

Within this framework, the publications of Atatürk University were presented to Governor Mustafa Çiftçi by Publishing House Coordinator Prof.Dr. Bünyamin Aydemir, who paid a visit to his office to apprise Governor Çiftci of the publishing house's activities.

"A City Is Carried Into the Future by Publications"

Governor Çiftci, who conducted a thorough examination of the publications authored by the publishing house, lauded the works. Governor Mustafa Çiftci, who regarded books pertaining to Erzurum with particular interest, advocated for their expansion and incorporation into the body of literature. Governor Mustafa Çiftci asserted that publications are a critical instrument in propelling a municipality towards progress, characterized by Erzurum's profound and formidable potential across nearly all domains.

Prof. Dr. Bünyamin Aydemir observed that the Atatürk University Publishing House has accomplished significant endeavors, particularly with the support and encouragement of Rector Ömer Çomaklı, and remarked that the publishing house is among the most esteemed institutions' trademarks in both Erzurum and the university. Aydemir stated that the publishing house diligently executes their duties to furnish dependable and high-quality academic resources: "Students, academics, and researchers are granted access to information through these resources." At the same time, our publishing house contributes to the growth and support of academic communities that are specialized in a particular discipline. Cooperation and scientific communication in a specific field are thereby enhanced. Our publishing house, which contributes to local culture in addition to maintaining an international presence, aids in the development and preservation of the academic and cultural heritage of our city and region. "I would like to thank all our stakeholders, especially Rector Ömer Çomaklı, who supported the development and growth of Atatürk University Publishing House, which has such an important mission."

Rector Çomaklı stated, "We take great pride in the acclaim received."

Aydemir, who paid a visit to Rector Çomaklı after Governor Mustafa Çiftçi, shared Governor Çiftçi's praise and congratulations with Rector Çomaklı.  Çomaklı expressed his pride in the assessments made regarding the publishing house. They vowed to continue serving science, culture, and Erzurum in the realm of book publishing, as they do in all endeavors. He further stated, "The acclaim bestowed upon us by our state elders motivates us to exert greater effort and generate quality work." Additionally, publications that contribute to the formation of identity and memory in cultural and historical domains are highly valued by the Atatürk University Publishing House. The organization's publishing policy gives precedence to works that address the historical and cultural identity of Erzurum and the surrounding region, both in the past and present. "As a publishing house, we will continue to serve the publishing literature in all fields of science, the history and culture of Erzurum, with publications such as copyrighted books, translated books, editions and textbooks."
