GOVERNOR OKAY MEMIŞ AND DEPUTY ZEHRA TAŞKESENLIOĞLU VISITED DAKAF
Erzurum Governor Okay Memiş and AK Party Erzurum Deputy Zehra Taşkesenlioğlu visited the fair, which was organized with the aim of reviving the employment and career opportunities of the Eastern Anatolia Region and hosted by Atatürk University.
Being the Eastern Anatolian Region part of the career fairs orginized with the support of the Presidential Human Resources Office all around Turkey, the fair was met with great interest at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Fair Center. The city's civil, administrative and judicial powers also participated in the fair, which attracted the attention of citizens from all walks, especially students. In this context, Erzurum Governor Okay Memiş and AK Party Erzurum Deputy Zehra Taşkesenlioğlu exchanged ideas with company officials on the second day of the fair.
Governor Memiş Touched upon the Importance of Career Planning
Erzurum Governor Okay Memiş, who frequently met with students and guided them in this context, stated that the Eastern Anatolia Career Fair was also very important in this regard. Visiting the booths with Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, Governor Memiş stated that the meeting of the students with the sector is fascinating in terms of students' career planning after completing their university education.
Visiting the student clubs, Governor Okay Memiş stated that the student projects that were initiated and continued in accordance with the domestic and national technology moves have a special importance for him. Drawing attention to the fact that foreign dependency is gradually decreasing in the Defense Industry, Governor Memiş stated : "We must give them all the necessary support to keep their excitement alive and to bring their ideas to life. With these thoughts, I would like to thank Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, who hosted such a comprehensive event and helped students and graduates reach the relevant sector representatives through the Eastern Anatolian Career Fair.”
Deputy Taşkesenlioğlu Took Selfies with Students
Another guest of the fair, where the attendance was very intense, was Zehra Taşkesenlioğlu, AK Party deputy of Erzurum. Taşkesenlioğlu, who visited the stands one by one and received information about the work they did from the company officials, held discussions on the works that can be integrated into Erzurum.
Emphasizing that these and similar activities create vitality in the city, Erzurum Deputy Taşkesenlioğlu: “Besides the important organizations coming from different regions of our country and serving in different sectors, public institutions and organizations help the students to look at the business life from different windows. With DAKAF'20, our students and academics meet the leading names in the industry and get the chance to create important business connections. I hope that the fair, where important steps have been taken regarding employment and internship processes and employment, will be beneficial. ”
