THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION CONTINUES TO BE ACCREDITED. 9 MORE PROGRAMMES FROM THE FACULTY OF LITERATURE ACCREDITED
Atatürk University, which continues to work towards the goal of achieving excellence in contemporary education within the scope of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, continues to be the address of quality in education.
At Atatürk University, where new faculties and programmes are accredited every day, 9 more programmes from the Faculty of Literature were entitled to be accredited. After the application for the accreditation of Archaeology, Geography I, Geography II, Contemporary Turkish Dialects and Literatures, Philosophy, English Language and Literature, Art History, Sociology and Turkish Language and Literature programmes, the evaluation and decision process was completed and the programmes were accredited.
The 9 programmes, whose applications were evaluated by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Curricula of Faculties of Science, Literature, Science-Literature, Language and History-Geography (FEDEK), were accredited until 30 September 2025.
Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı stated that the accreditation of faculties and departments adds value to the university and that accreditation practices are effective in ensuring the continuity of education, research and social contribution.
Emphasising that with the new applications, there will be no unaccredited programmes in the Faculty of Literature, Rector Çomaklı stated that with the completion of the process, the faculty and related departments will become stronger in every aspect and thanked everyone who contributed to the positive outcome of this process.
