Turkey Volleyball Federation (TVF) Erzurum Provincial Representative Aytekin Gultekin, TVF Observer Necdet Seven, National Volleyball Referee Mehmet Kavurmacı, and Ataturk University Sports Club Women's Volleyball Team Captain Nur Berat Sahin visited Ataturk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı in his office.

Ataturk University won many degrees in many sports especially winter sports to continue this success and continue its support for athletes under the leadership of Rector Çomaklı.

Volleyball Provincial Representative Aytekin Gültekin thanked Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı for his interest and mentioned that Rector Çomaklı is a great chance for Erzurum and sports fans. Saying that he is also a graduate of Atatürk University, Gültekin stated that he closely followed the studies carried out by the university and the Rector Çomaklı and that the achievements were a source of pride for Erzurum.

The guests thanked Rector Çomaklı for his support to volleyball as well as to all branches of sports and talked to Rector Çomaklı for a while about sports branches.

Expressing his satisfaction with the visit of Volleyball Provincial Representative Aytekin Gültekin and the accompanying delegation, Rector Çomaklı said that Atatürk University is a university that is very successfull in almost every branch of sports both in Ünilig and at the level of clubs.

Rector Çomaklı: “As Atatürk University, our museum is full of cups, medals, and championships. We are a leading university in education, arts, and culture as well as sports. Our university has previously taken part in the Volleyball Leagues at club level. After that, we will start the necessary work to take place again. Hopefully, we will discuss this issue in the coming days. I believe that as Atatürk University, we will be a university that will represent Erzurum in the volleyball league. We already have all kinds of foundations at the moment. The athletes that come out of our own are ready,” he said.

After the visit, Volleyball Provincial Representative Aytekin Gültekin presented a plate to Rector Çomaklı for his support for sports and athletes, while TVF Observer Necdet Seven presented a gift.
