Forage Crops Workshop was organized by Atatürk University Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Field Crops.

In the workshop, which was held online on June 29, where many scientists from different universities and institutions in Turkey took part as speakers and various presentations on forage crops were discussed, the opening speeches were respectively; Atatürk University Faculty of Agriculture, Field Crops Department, Meadow, Pasture and Forage Crops Department,  Prof. Dr. Binali Çomaklı, Head of Field Crops Department Prof. Dr. Metin Tosun and Atatürk University Faculty of Agriculture  Dean Prof. Dr. Kenan Barik.  67 people from different universities and the agriculture sector participated in the workshop.

Organizing Committee Chairman Prof. Dr. Binali Çomaklı stated that a consensus was reached on the current status, cultivation, breeding, and sustainability of forage crops at the workshop, and He thanked especially Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı , Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Head of the Field Crops Department, Workshop Co-Chair Assoc. Dr. M. Kerim Güllap, Workshop General Secretary Assoc. Dr.  Melih Okcu, members of the organizing committee, faculty members of partner universities, employees of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and all participants who contributed to the workshop, and hoped that the workshop outputs would offer solutions to questions and problems.
